Following the publication of 23 issues of Leporello, the monthly e-newsletter dedicated to contemporary opera, from September 2011 to September 2013, I launched a blog on the same subject on April 12th, 2014.
Here is the address of the blog : http://cowarc.blogspot.fr/

Since I launched my blog, I have collected several hundreds of programme books published by opera houses for contemporary operas, including world premières, revivals and new productions.
I have catalogued all my opera programme books (1566 in June 2020) on LibraryThing. You can have access to this catalogue by following this link. I also write a description of the book on my blog, every time I get a new one.
Since the early 1990s, I also buy the programme for every performance I attend personnally. I have more than 600 programme books for non contemporary operas, mostly from theatres in Paris.
In the same time, I have collected more than 8000 documents (season programmes, monthly or bimonthly brochures, magazines) published by opera houses, mostly from Europe and North America (985 new documents in 2015).
I receive about 50 new documents every month, mostly from Germany and Austria.
They contain more or less accurate and detailed information about more than 180.000 performances. From them, I have compiled a calendar of all performances.
Here is a list of theaters sending me regular information about their performances. By following the links, you have access to a flickr folder with scanned covers of the documents.
At the beginnig of September 2017, I have updated the contents of these flickr folders, adding 1661 scans of yearly and monthly brochures and magazines from opera house and concert halls listed below.
I now have more than 10100 documents in my collection, documenting more than 207.000 performances.
In December 2018, there is a new update with 1124 new scans of magazines and season programmes. I now have more than 11.000 documents for 229.000 performances.
I am always looking for documents I don't have in my collection. I am much interested in acquiring documents published by opera houses since the early 1970s.
If you have such documents and are looking for a new home for them, please get in touch !
